The Pickford family has operated Showtime Lanes for over two decades.

 

Bill took over Samarge Lanes in January of 1995, which then became Showtime Lanes. Bill grew up in Springfield, IL a few miles away from King Pin Lanes, and always enjoyed bowling in the youth program. Bill later began working at King Pin Lanes and fell in love with it. Bill learned Samarge Lanes was for sale in Virden, and moved his family from Dawson, IL to Girard and has lived there ever since. Along with his wife, Terri, they have made Showtime what it is today.

They have 3 children, Bryan, Gina, and Kaylee, who have all contributed to working for the family business. Kaylee was appointed Assistant Manager in 2016 and plans to carry on the family business with the help of her brother and sister. Bill and Terri have 7 grandchildren: Bentley, Parker, Angel baby Avry, Gideon, Keegan, Oliver, and Taelyn.
The Pickfords have enjoyed living and contributing to the communities of Virden and Girard and hope to offer a family-friendly fun center for many years to come.
